Job Description
Internship (Dallas-Fort Worth, TX)
Part-Time (16-28 hours per week)
About the Position
The Claremont Institute is seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, intellectually curious candidates to intern, in-person, at its office in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Interns will assist staff in Claremont’s Center for Political Philosophy & Statesmanship, Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence, and/or the Claremont Review of Books.
Claremont provides training and guidance to each intern, as well as the opportunity to work in an environment deeply immersed in the principles of the American Founding. The position will be part-time, with interns working 16-28 hours per week.
Interns will also participate in lunch discussions with Claremont scholars and staff on a variety of topics.
Duties & Responsibilities May Include
- Research support
- Event planning
- Assistance with mailings
- Data entry
- Summarizing legal briefs
Requirements
- Organizational skills
- A keen eye for detail
- A methodical approach to research
- Excellent writing abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- A a desire to advance Claremont’s mission to restore the principles of the American Founding to our political order.
- Study and/or knowledge of American history and politics preferred
Salary range
Internships are paid and college credit may be available.
