Claremont Institute welcomes Theo Wold as Visiting Fellow at the Center for the American Way of Life

Washington, D.C.—The Claremont Institute is pleased to announce the hiring of Theo Wold as Visiting Fellow at the Center for the American Way of Life

The Center is the Washington, DC branch of the Claremont Institute devoted to restoring political liberty by arming the Right with moral confidence, ideas, and new policies, while working to undermine the Left’s hold over America’s institutions and conscience.

Theo Wold joins Claremont after holding the position of Acting-Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Policy at the Department of Justice and Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy during the Trump Administration. He previously served as Deputy Chief Counsel to United States Senator Mike Lee on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“Theo Wold is an excellent thinker, political operator and analyst of federal power,” said Arthur Milikh, Executive Director of the Center for the American Way of Life. “We are thrilled he is joining us.”

Mr. Wold clerked at the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit for Judge Janice Rogers Brown and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico for Judge José Antonio Fusté. He has also lectured at the law school of the Universidad of Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala. Mr. Wold was a John Marshall Fellow at the Claremont Institute and a Madison Fellow at Hillsdale College’s Kirby Center.

“I look forward to joining the esteemed minds at the Center in their ongoing work to renew our nation’s strength, displace the Deep State, and restore the American citizen to the center of national life, said Theo Wold.” “It’s an honor to be part of the Claremont project to supply new pillars for our republic.”
