The Claremont Institute is providing strong intellectual leadership for the new Right and is chalking up real accomplishments in its work to preserve constitutionalism and the American way of life. And people across the political spectrum are taking note.

In the past few months, we have been profiled—sometimes fairly, sometimes most emphatically not—by major media outlets including The AtlanticThe New Republic, the Washington Post, and most recently, the New York Times. In fact, so many articles have appeared about us that the Newsweek opinion editor Josh Hammer wrote one titled, “Why is Everyone Talking About the Claremont Institute?”.

Hammer, who is one of our Fellowship alumni, points out that the New York Times piece by Elizabeth Zerofsky is refreshingly well-researched and honest, while the Washington Post article seems little more than an attempt to smear an enemy of the Left.

We have provided links (on the left) to PDF copies (i.e., hosted on our server, so you aren’t required to subscribe) of the Times article along with Hammer’s roundup of the media coverage.

These articles serve as examples of how the quality and impact of Claremont’s work is such that it commands the attention even of elite publications and audiences—including ones that may not be inclined toward our message. When that happens, it means we’re succeeding.

As you review the articles, we hope you enjoy these signs that the work you support at the Claremont Institute is creating impact that can’t be ignored. It couldn’t happen without you.

Thank you for standing strong with us, and please stay in touch.
