Christopher Flannery is a senior fellow of the Claremont Institute, senior editor of the Claremont Review of Books, and professor of political science at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California.
He holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Government from the Claremont Graduate School. He has served as a member of the California Department of Education's Review Team for Draft National Standards for Civics and Government, and as a consultant to the California Department of Education with respect to civics education and textbook assessment.
Dr. Flannery has published articles in academic periodicals including The Journal of Contemporary Studies, the Claremont Review of Books, Grand Strategy: Countercurrents, and The Western Political Quarterly.
