John J. Pitney, Jr.

John J. Pitney, Jr. is the Roy P. Crocker Professor of American Politics at Claremont McKenna College.

He served as the acting director of the research department of the Republican National Committee from 1990-1991. He received a Ph.D. from Yale University and a B.A. in political science from Union College.
