Ben Tang

Ben Tang directs the Claremont Institute's Asian Studies programs. He was a 1992 Publius Fellow and has worked with the Institute since that time. He has conducted and coordinated many research programs and conferences on U.S.-Taiwan relations and Sino-American relations.

He has been a commentator for Voice of America since 1992 and the host of its "Views and Perspectives" from 1998 to 2000.

Tang has an M.A. in Asian Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is an expert in U.S.-China-Taiwan relations and plays a leading role in promoting American principles in the global Chinese media.
