Americans for Victory Over Terrorism

AVOT is dedicated to victory in the War on Terrorism. Through the shaping of public opinion, the encouragement of a foreign policy based on the founding principles of America, increased research about Islam and Islamism, and a steadfast committment to attacking those who would blame America first, AVOT will work toward victory in this first great war of the 21st century.

Newt Gingrich on the Threat of a Nuclear Iran at the Herzliya Conference.

"Three nuclear weapons constitute a second Holocaust. Enemies are explicit in their desire to destroy us. We are sleepwalking through this as if diplomatic engagement will create a fiesta where we will all love one another. The terrorist threats are larger and more formidable than the political system in Israel or the US can cope with."

Newt Gingrich Testimony Before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee: 1/23/07

"We can accept defeat and try to rebuild our position in the region while accommodating the painful possibility that these enemies of freedom in Iraq -- evil men, vicious murderers, and sadistic inflictors of atrocities will have defeated both the millions of Iraqis who voted for legal self government and the American people and their government.....

Mark Steyn on the Imponderables in the Global War 07/30/2006

Mark asks if we have what it takes to win this war, not militarily, but culturally: “Our enemies understand why we fight and where the fight is. They know that in the greater scheme of things the mosques of Jakarta and Amsterdam and Toronto and Dearborn are more important territory than the Sunni Triangle. The U.S. military is the best-equipped and best-trained in the world. But it’s not enough, it never has been and it never will be.”

Bennett & Leibsohn Take on the Myths of Israel’s Disproportionate Action 09/05/2006
