Catharine Bailey serves as a Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Sonny Bono. A 1993 graduate of the University of Chicago, Miss Bailey has also worked as a community and government relations consultant for Julie Hamos and Associates, and as a project consultant for the American Academy of Arts and Sciences' Urban Transportation Policy Project.
Steven Boyd Davis is Director of Research and Educational Affairs at Freedom Alliance in Sterling, Virginia, where he has also been Chief Staff Writer and Editor of The Free American. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Liberty University in 1989, and his M.A. in Political Philosophy from the University of Dallas in 1991. Mr. Boyd has worked as an editor at The Free Congress Foundation and at Political Research, Incorporated. He has also served as Associate Field Director for grassroots mobilization at Citizens Against Government Waste.
Jessica Gavora serves as Director of Programs at the New Citizenship Project. She has also worked as an Associate Editor of Political Hotline at the American Political Network. Miss Gavora received degrees in Economics and Journalism from Georgetown University, and in Political Science from Marquette University. She also holds an M.A. in American Foreign Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
Steven Hayes is director of the Institute on Political Journalism at The Fund for American Studies. A 1993 graduate of DePaul University, Mr. Hayes is now enrolled in the M.A. program in Social Philosophy and Public Policy at Georgetown University.
David Johanson is Legislative Director for Congressman George Radanovich. Mr. Johanson is a graduate of Stanford University and has an advanced degree from Cambridge University and a J.D. from the University of Texas. Before joining the staff of Rep. Radanovich, David was Legislative Assistant and Press Secretary to Congressman Wally Herger and a Legislative Correspondent for Senator Phil Gramm.
Mark Levin is Director of Legal Policy at the Landmark Legal Foundation in Washington, D.C., where his is responsible for the direction of public policy and legal activities. He has authored several commentary articles, and handles public communications and litigation. Mr. Levin has a J.D. from Temple University and served as Chief of Staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese during the Reagan Administration.
John Littel is Associate Dean of the School of Government at Regent University in Virginia. Mr. Littel has a J.D. from Catholic University and served as Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Resources of the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to his appointment at Regent. He has also worked for the Family Research Council, the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy and for the late Senator John Heinz, III.
Christine Olson is a Policy Analyst for the Heritage Foundation. Miss Olson is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has also worked for the Rutherford Institute. She has written several policy papers on education, family, agricultural and economic issues.
Robert Schwarzwalder is Deputy Chief of Staff and Press Secretary for Congressman Bill Baker. Mr. Schwarzwalder is a graduate of Biola University and Western Baptist Seminary. He has also done graduate work in American history. Mr. Schwarzwalder also worked as Deputy Press Secretary for Senator Dan Coats.
Lauren Weiner is Editor for Senator Jon Kyl. A graduate of Kenyon College, Miss Weiner has published several articles in journals such as The New Criterion and Society. Her articles have also appeared in Insight and The Baltimore Sun. Before her work for Senator Kyl, Miss Weiner worked for The Washington Times and as a freelance writer.
