Diana Ernst is a student at Claremont McKenna College where she is majoring in government and philosophy. A California native, Diana has worked as a swim instructor and as an intern at the Salvatori Center on the Claremont McKenna College campus. Diana looks forward to a writing career with commentary on politics and the arts.
Matthew Festa is a 2004 graduate of Loyola College in Maryland, where he received a degree in economics. At Loyola he was the recipient of Italian-American and Federal Aviation Administration student scholarships, was a member of the National Economics Honor Society. His articles for the Loyola Greyhound have been nationally syndicated. Matthew hopes to pursue a graduate degree in economics and would like to write on politics and economics.
Daniel Hauck is a 2003 graduate of Emory University, where he will also be entering law school in August. At Emory, he was president of the College Republicans and treasurer for Student Government. A self-employed web site designer, Daniel has also worked on a US Senate campaign and as a researcher for Empower America. He plans to put his law training to use in politics or through an advocacy organization.
Travis Kavulla is a history major at Harvard University. Travis is the publisher of the Harvard Salient and Associate Editorial Chair of the Harvard Crimson. He is an Undergraduate Fellow of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies and was the recipient of a grant for summer research in Bosnia-Herzegovnia. He is considering careers in journalism, academia, or law.
Timothy Lehmann is a graduate of Kenyon College, where he majored in political science and French. He has also studied at the Sorbonne and Institut Catholique in Paris. Timothy was editor of the Kenyon Observer, has worked as a tutor, and hopes to pursue a career in public service, perhaps in the State Department.
Patrick McGrath holds a B.A. in English and French from Tulane, and a Master's in English from Tulane. Patrick has taught French and English at St. Stanislaus High School in St. Louis, where he is also the head swim coach and tennis coach. He has an interest in using his knowledge of the French language and culture to assist the CIA or State Department in the war on terror.
Genevieve Schmitt is a graduate of Trinity University, where she received a B.A. in political science. Besides many other academic honors, Genevieve was a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete, and a member of nationally-ranked basketball teams reaching the Final Four and Sweet 16. She hopes to work in both Europe and the United States pursuing a career in public policy.
Ryan Williams is a 2004 graduate of Hillsdale College, where he was selected for a special Clarence Thomas honors seminar on the Constitution. Ryan has worked at the Institute for Justice in Washington, D.C. He plans on attending law school, and establishing a career in anti-trust, constitutional, or property law.
Grant Winthrop is a student at Claremont Graduate University and assists with the Claremont Institute's Missile Defense project. His research interests include American defense policy and diplomatic history. He is also interested in political and religious philosophy and is considering a career in academia.
