Cristen Wohlgemuth is Executive Director of the Claremont Institute’s Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence. Ms. Wohlgemuth manages the Center’s case request and selection process, oversees the Founders’ Legal Network, and executes the marketing, communications, and conferences of the Center. She serves as an adjunct clinical professor at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where she co-teaches the Constitutional Jurisprudence Clinic with Dr. John C. Eastman and Clinic Director Anthony T. Caso.
From 2008 through 2014, Ms. Wohlgemuth served as chief of staff to several members of the Texas Legislature and as director of policy for the House Republican Caucus. From 2007 to 2008, she served as budget & policy advisor to Governor Rick Perry on a variety of issues. A native Texan, Ms. Wohlgemuth earned her B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University. She earned her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and is licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
